Shaniah Branson, M.A.

Ms. Branson teaches English, History, and Physical Education, while supporting individualized academic goals and student growth in the Middle School. She completed a dual degree program at UC Davis, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and a second Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2020. She then completed the Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of Southern California in 2023, earning her Social Science and Education Specialist credentials, and Gifted Education certification.

Before working at TCS, she coached basketball and worked as a Homeless Services Case Manager, supporting foster, unhoused, and incarcerated youth in developing interpersonal skills and self-advocacy. Her favorite part of TCS is seeing students experience academic breakthroughs and build a sense of belonging. Ms. Branson is passionate about empowering and connecting with her students. Outside of school, she enjoys running, reading, and exploring new coffee shops.
