The Craig School was designed from the ground up with our students in mind. From the physical spaces to our innovative approach, we built a school that makes our students finally feel understood and appreciated.

An approach designed to work together.
Real Academics, Executive Function, Social Skills & Communications, and Family Partnership operate at the same time, in the same rooms, with the same students and staff.
The reason why? A student asking for help with a difficult math problem may be working on academics, communication, executive functioning, and self-advocacy in the same 30 seconds. It's all connected.
The goal is not simply support. It is access.
What holds it together is measurement.
Each pillar produces information, but no single measure tells the whole story. A reading score means more when it is considered alongside what happened in the classroom. A run of difficult days may look different when viewed alongside changes in academic demands, executive functioning, or social demands.
TCS looks across those signals together. We use what we learn to adjust instruction, supports, and goals rather than waiting for a report care to tell us something isn't working.
Any school can state its values. We want to be able to tell you what we measured, what we learned, and what we changed.
Where the school came from
The TCS model has more than 35 years of classroom-based history, with roots in the Child Development School formerly operated in the UC Irvine Child Development Center. The approach developed there helped shape the integrated model today.
A school first.
The Craig School is an independent educational institution with clinical expertise and services integrated into the school day. This allows us to create a unique environment designed perfectly for students with ADHD, autism, or those who need a classroom built for their learning style. We are not a clinical placement for students that require 1:1 support.
