Support for families in our community.
Connecting Families is a free, eight-week program offered with UC Riverside and the California Youth Behavioral Health Initiative. Parents and elementary-aged children meet in separate groups to practice skills for communication, relationships, and everyday challenges.
This community program has its own intake process and does not replace required first-year Family Education.

Yes. Every new family completes the program during the first year as a condition of enrollment.
The six-week evening series includes approximately 12 hours of instruction and costs $900 per family, separate from tuition.
No. MFG is highly recommended for continued guidance, shared problem-solving and connection with other families. Participation is not required.
At least two series are offered per year. Our team provides the schedule and payment information before each series begins. Ask Admissions about upcoming sessions and how participation fits into your family's first year.
Families receive a Daily Progress Report, teacher communication, academic reports, and formal conferences twice each school year.
Teachers and the Student Support Team may also arrange meetings with families when additional discussion would be helpful.
