A TCS FAMILY STORY

Seven Years at TCS.
In Her Own Words.

Erin's son enrolled at The Craig School in first grade. Seven years later, she wrote us this letter.

When we enrolled our son at The Craig School in first grade, we did so based on recommendations from professionals and families we trusted. At the time, we didn't fully understand the challenges he was facing or what his future might look like. Like many parents, we were navigating uncertainty and trying to make the best decision with limited information.

What we found at TCS was not a quick fix, but something far more meaningful: a highly specialized, research-based approach that meets each child where they are and builds from there. Over the past seven years, that consistent support, combined with extraordinary patience and expertise, has made a profound impact on our son's development.

Today, he is confident, self-aware, and resilient. He understands his strengths and challenges, can advocate for himself, and approaches life with determination and heart. These are not outcomes that happen overnight, nor are they easily achieved in a traditional school environment. For a child like ours, the individualized attention and small class sizes at TCS made all the difference.

What truly sets TCS apart is its people. The staff is exceptionally well-trained, deeply committed, and genuinely invested in each student's success. Their methods are grounded in science and proven results, and they work closely with families to ensure progress continues beyond the classroom. It is a true partnership.

One moment that stands out was when our son earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Members of the TCS staff showed up on a Friday night — on their own time — to support him. That level of care and connection is rare, and it speaks volumes about the culture of this school.

Equally impactful is the sense of community. TCS brings together families navigating similar challenges, creating a support system that extends beyond the classroom. As parents, we are not alone in this journey.

We didn't just pay for a school.
We invested in our child's ability to believe in himself.

When people ask whether the tuition is worth it, our answer is simple: We didn't just pay for a school. We invested in our child's ability to believe in himself.

TCS didn't change who our son is. They gave him access to who he already was and the tools to grow into his full potential.

There is no version of this story where we regret our decision. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose The Craig School every single time.
