Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child need a formal diagnosis to apply?

No. A formal diagnosis of ADHD or any behavioral health condition is not required for admission. Many students at TCS have moderate challenges that don’t meet full diagnostic criteria but still benefit enormously from our approach.

What grades does The Craig School serve?

TCS serves students in grades 3 through 8. If your child is currently in 2nd grade, we encourage you to reach out early so we can plan ahead together.

How long does the admissions process take?

Our process is intentionally thoughtful so both your family and our school can make an informed decision together. Most families complete the process within a few weeks of their initial call.

Is financial aid available?

Yes. Families who anticipate needing aid are strongly encouraged to explore eligibility early in the process using FACTS Grant & Aid, a third-party service that evaluates household income and family size. Contact us to learn more.

What is the student-to-teacher ratio?

Approximately 5:1. This is not a typo. Small class sizes are fundamental to how TCS works — every student gets real attention from teachers who know them well.
